A power tiller is a two wheel tractor mounted with a rotary shaft containing tines to till the soil.It is used both for primary and secondary tillage operations.Virtually a power tiller has the following components:
1.Power tiller Engine
-provides power to the tractor for movement
-provides power to yhe rotary shaft/
2.Fuel Tank
-Conserve fuel and supply it to the engine.
3.Fuel Tank Cap.
-Conserves the fuel tank.
4.
-Condenser or Radiator
-Provides water circulation for cooling the engine.
5.Silencer
-Carries the exhaust gas out
-Reduces noise while expultion of the gas
6.Air Cleaner
-Receives,filters, cleans and supplies air to the inlet valve.
7.Gear BOX.
-Contains different gear mesh arrangement.
8.Clutch Lever.
-Used to attach or separate the clutch with or from the rotary part.
9.Steering clutch lever
-Used to stir between the wheels for easy turning.
10.Fuel filter
-Filters the fuel and supply it to the inlet valve
11.Rear Wheel.
-Used to control the direction of movement
12.Depth Control Lever.
-Used to control the depth of tillage
-Can move the rotary tiller up and down
13.Seats
-Where operator seats
14.V-Belt
-Transfers powers from pulley to the gearing mechanism and to the chain sprocket.
15.Chain.
-Transfers the turning power to the rotary shaft
16.Chain Cover
-Covers the chain
17.Rotary Tiller or Rotavator
-A shaft connected to the chain sprocket system
-Contains blades or tines attached to it which are changeable
18.Dip Stick
-A metal stick used to measure the depth of lubricating oil in the oil tank
19.Chassis
-Main framework upon which the engine body stands
20.Accelerator Lever
-Used to accelerate the PT
-Increase the fuel injection to combustion to chamber
21.Trade Mark
-Identifies the detail of the PT
-Must be checked before purchase.
